But I’m continually amazed at how this front office likes to hitch their wagon to Luke Hochaver. He wasn’t even drafted by Dayton Moore and the DOS that did draft him has been fired. Ned’s right in one respect. Make him go away so they can look at someone else. Too bad he’ll be back next year.

He hasn’t busted out but for a top overall pick he’s been a disappointment.

If the Royals feel putting the brakes on his season is wise in protecting their investment then it’s a wise move, whether he’s 18, 28, or 38.
