Congrats to the Clippers for representing the IL so well.

It’s unfortunate, but inevitable, that minor league playoffs don’t mean all that much. After all, the point of the modern minor league system (as envisioned and created by Branch Rickey) is to provide talent to the Major League teams. It’s good for the MLB teams to see their farm clubs do well, but what’s really important is the progress (or lack thereof) of individual players.

I think you should talk to the younger minor-leaguers winning their respective league championships before making such a broad, sweeping, and uninformed statement.
