Pitching for a team with some offense would probably make a difference in the length of his starts, not to mention his win total. The Sawks and Yankees have scored in the neighborhood of 200 more runs than the ShySox this year.

He would not be a fit with either team. His games do not last very long. Concession sales would be hurt if he pitched for either the Yankees or Red Sox.

I’ve always liked this guy. GMDM get on the phone now, and at least ask what it would take. If it’s too much, or he won’t come…fine. He is 32 so be careful. Just make the call.

I am a Royals fan who hates all things having to do with the White Sox, but I do respect Buehrle and love to watch him pitch. I think it’d be a shame if he moved on.
