Hopefully the fact that the Twins are a few days away from a 4.5 month vacation will help. I know nothing about concussions, but perhaps not having anything to rush back to will help him rest and heal properly.

He wears one of the newerish helmets (with the groves and slots, not all smooth), but not the special concussion-type, no.

I can’t tell from the picture, but was he wearing one of the concussion helmets? I think it’s time MLB mandates those helmets for all players. I get they look stupid, but a concussion is serious business. Your brain > Looking stupid in a helmet.
