Phillies fans, meet Freddy Galvis!! Yikes...5 years? He's still productive but for any fans who watch him play every night it's obvious the speed is down and he's just a hot and cold .265 hitter anymore, if that. Can Galvis match his production? Probably not but the savings of millions if you go with Galvis and the other pieces you can add with those savings might make up for the difference for the team overall. what's he going to want, 8 to 10 million a year? Maybe even more? Give me a .250 hitting defensive gem in Galvis and save that money for other contracts or a trade deadline pick-up. I'd hate to see the team lose Rollins' personality but it may be time to cut and run.

Reyes is a tough call. I'm not going to say if they should or shouldn't, but I will say that Madson will not be the reason they don't sing him.
I don't know why, but this popped into my head as soon as I read Rollins' quote.
"And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.""
