I love the way Youkilis plays the game, but his durability is in serious question after the last few years, and, if reports are to be believed, he’s been a net negative in the clubhouse with constant complaining.

Even though Ortiz had a great year, maybe it’s worth considering moving Youkilis to DH and saying goodbye to Papi, especially if there is friction between the two.

Based on that photograph, the hernia is located somewhere between his chin and forehead. Scary stuff.

Peter King’s monday morning football column on SI.com had an interesting story about Youkilis and Ortiz. Based on his observation of the 2 of them in a hotel lobby, it appeared that they do not like eachother. This ties in with negative stories about the Red Sox clubhouse this season.
