Every time I hear Doug Fister’s name in these broadcasts, I’m thankful we don’t have to hear Chip Caray anymore.

“The pitch from Fister…fisted into the outfield!”

    • cur68 - Oct 4, 2011 at 11:17 PM

“Chip Caray, fisted to the face…”

      Man the Tigers have imploded….

I figured the Yanquis were going to score a lot if they were going to win, just didn’t figure on Detroit’s offense being so weak. I’ll take it, though.

Looks like a blow out in Arizona, too.

Morning headlines are going to be great. “AJ Burnett: MONEY” C’mon, anyone who saw that coming was guessing out their butts.

Hughes looked Verlander-esque…BEST INNING IN POSTSEASON HISTORY!

  7. churchoftheperpetuallyoutraged - Oct 4, 2011 at 11:34 PM

Dear Mr. Hughes, if you can control a 95mph 4seamer, a 90mph cutter that breaks down and away to RH batters, and a tight 85mph curve, you’re going to go far in this league.

    Sincerely,

    yankee fans

  8. cur68 - Oct 4, 2011 at 11:39 PM

Well, this is it; 3 outs to make a 9 run come back and crush the Yankees. How often has that happened in the post season?

    • jimbo1949 - Oct 4, 2011 at 11:47 PM

      not this time

goodnight and good luck to all
