I’d rather see Ryan Raburn in the lineup somewhere. He was one of the best hitters in the AL the second half of the season and we’ve barely seen him this series.

I’d rather see Santiago hitting 2nd myself, but Kelly hit the ball hard last game, and he’s versatile.

For what it’s worth, Kelly looks quite competent to me when I’ve seen him at 3B. His Baseball Info Solutions Defensive Runs Saved is 8 runs above the average MLB 3B, but that doesn’t come close to stabilizing in just 444 innings played.

I agree that he should be batting 8th or so in that order, not 2nd, if he is going to play.
