There would have been one man in and runners at the corners. So the score would have been 3, but then the next guy made an out in the next inning. Then with Prince’s HR, it would probably have been 12-4, & they still lose. So, it would have made NO difference.

Internal options include Mayberry Jr. Also, maybe moving Utley to first allowing Polanco to go back to his natural position of second base. RAJ was also kicking the tires on teaching Jr. how to play third. That seems quite bizarre as he would be the tallest player ever to play third but whatever.

4 Days ago, Greg Green, a high school senior in my city, was hit in the head while pitching. The words I had been dreading came on the 11 pm news; he has passed away. A ball ricocheted and hit him. He was a 4.0 student and ROTC leader. I never knew him, but It sounds like we lost one hell of a young man. In tears, I report that a baseball player, and a fine young man, has died at the hands of our beloved game. Dammit.

My thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends.
