And what does it take to be a “true” Feesh fan, then? Joy at having a vulgar, incoherent blowhard become their manager? Eager anticipation at having said idiot manager import an erratic, undependable head case of a pitcher who has worn out his welcome to the point that his former employers are going to be willing to eat millions to be rid of him? Deep appreciation for an ownership that flat out lied about its financial situation in order to inveigle our upstanding elected officials to cough up hundreds of millions of bed tax dollars earmarked for enhancing our community as a tourist destination to build a bandbox for billionaires? A profound respect for a front office that has nickel and dimed its team to death for six years (a “market correction,” in the Chihuahua’s memorable phrase) instead of investing in it as a way of building the fan base for the long term? Or a celebration of a last place team that imploded like a rotten pumpkin this past season and had one of the worst RISP stats in all of baseball?
Sorry. I must not have been born with the gene that permits me to rahhh-rahhhh for a bunch of underperforming prima donnas no matter how dully or badly they play.

You go right ahead and practice your own stolid brand of mindless homeboy jingoism. I’ll continue to insist on spending my sports dollars on quality products, and making an issue of it when the team on the field sucks.

Sounds like the Marlins may be picking up the “shock value” way of putting this team together.

Behind closed doors they will tell Logan Morrison to ramp it up a bit on twatter.

If you get enough hot heads and ego maniacs together do they neutralize themselves? It seems to only work for part of the year for the Yankees (regular season, not post)

It didn’t take Slobbering Ozzie long to take this pathetic team and begin remaking it into a laughingstock that only Garcia Marquez’ biggest fans could love – and then only as an example of what happens when Murphy’s Law operates in an environment free of the predators, like logic, which often conspire to circumscribe its effects. I have a sick feeling that Scrooge McLoria will look at Javier Vasquez’ renaissance season – which allasudden seems to have plummeted into the distant past – and think he can catch lightning in a gourd bottle twice in a row. Zambrano would be nothing but the harlequin dwarf in the eyeball hat to Slobbering Ozzie’s vulgar clown show – two grandstanding, unstable idiot blowhards cavorting on a field of mediocrity.

That horror in the outfield better be good and ready to light up, toot like a railroad worker’s mess wagon after a meal of pork and beans, fire off simulated laser rockets and scream like a Cuban treefrog in a knight anole’s jaws because Krazy Karlos, aside from embarrassing the entire organization and a town that needs more embarrassments like it needs more corrupt politicians, will be feeding it lots of opportunities to strut its stuff.
