The “Moneyball” parody about the Yankees was pretty funny. But this one from “Saturday Night Live” is even better.
It’s funny because it’s true ….

I don’t know. It’s a bunch of stereotypes about balls and stuff, and Ben Stiller playing that one character he always plays. It wasn’t bad, but I thought Too Much Moneyball was just much, much better.

This skit was hilarious! I want them to make a movie just like this.

It is not available to Canadians; so I have to assume that it is funny.

I thought it was funny, because, let’s face it, there were at least a few A’s (as well as many others in baseball) who were juiced during the “Moneyball” period. Of course, with the A’s specifically, juicing was a long established part of the clubhouse. By the 2001 season (the period covered by the movie) the A’s were already 12 years removed from their 1989 WS championship by a team that featured Canseco and McGwire.
BTW, A’s OF Billy Beane got 79 AB’s in 1989 for the A’s, his last as a player.

not even close to as funny as “too much moneyball”
