Ernie Johnson is TBS’ first-team baseball guy, but he’s been absent from this postseason due to his son’s illness. Today’s USA Today has a story detailing what Johnson and his family are dealing with. It’s heart-aching stuff.
Keep a thought in your heart for Johnson and his family.

In biblical terms (which is most appropriate considering his strong Christian faith) Johnson’s life of late has been almost Job-like…..with his own fight against cancer as well as the various illnesses and malaise’ his family has endured. Yet, he continues to be a man of extreme kindness and integrity through it all. His is a character many men should seek to emulate.

My thoughts and prayers go out to he and his family.
