Oct 13, 2011, 12:01 PM EDT

Sorry guys: just me today. Tiffany was too busy eating fried chicken and biscuits and drinking beer to take part in today's video.

Thought the tin foil hat might have somehow applied here.

    • Old Gator - Oct 13, 2011 at 1:15 PM

      Schrödinger’s Tigers?

  2. El Bravo - Oct 13, 2011 at 12:09 PM

So matter-of-fact today, Craig. This guarantees a Tigers comeback if I’ve done my calculations correctly.

  3. yankeesfanlen - Oct 13, 2011 at 12:12 PM

Ah, poor Tigers. Got the Yankees disease in NY……rainouts, no pop with RISP, can’t win in one-out or extra innings.

    • Old Gator - Oct 13, 2011 at 1:20 PM

Leonardo: do you recall the good old days when Borg-Beanbags was all but irrelevant whereas Borg-Tiggers was the connoisseur’s choice in baseball rivalries? As in 1961, when the Borg won the Tiggers won 101 games and finished a distant second to the Mantle-Maris-Ford-Arroyo Borg who won 109?

Yeah, Borg-Beanbag has furnished some cosmic titillation in our time, but I gotta tell you, those 1961 midseason games with the Tiggers were as good as it gets. There were no “dog days.” Period.

      • Francisco (FC) - Oct 13, 2011 at 1:27 PM

8 games is a distant second? I hate to think what you would call the ’86 Phillies.

      • Old Gator - Oct 13, 2011 at 1:54 PM

At that much of a remove? I’d borrow a term from physics and call them a hypothetical second.

  4. pisano - Oct 13, 2011 at 1:19 PM

They were lucky to get past the Yankees, bases loaded three times with one out and you only get one run. What the Yankees need is a few more Robinson Cano’s and they wouldn’t have to worry about driving in runs.

  5. leylandhater - Oct 13, 2011 at 1:29 PM

Dave Dombrowski should be fired. He clearly didn’t do enough to make the Tigers World Series contenders. Instead he gets a contract extension. Why? Leyland should be canned also. This team is a total fraud. What a bunch of gutless losers. Alex Avila is a total puss. Man up. Pathetic.
