So much drama in Boston. So much rancor. Thank goodness there’s still a bastion of simple, straightforward baseball business: the Bronx:

Hal Steinbrenner/Cashman are scheduled to meet next week, and all parties expect a new GM contract to be done without much rancor

Hear that Red Sox Nation? No rancor. No …

Sorry about that. It’s been a long week. And because I’ve suspended Twitter Questions until after the playoffs, I’m suffering from a geek deficit disorder.  If you’d like to learn more about The Rancor, please direct your attention here. The people who wrote that have less of a life than any of us do if that’s possible.

I appreciate the nerdism, always. Don’t apologize.

A bit more POP culture nerdism: poor minka Kelly has had a bad month or so, first Derek jeter dumps her and today ABC cancelled her god awful remake of Charlie’s Angels.

When Craig used the phrase quick and easy, I do not think that he was referring to Minka and the Captain’s private life.

Wow, she has had a rough couple of months. That blows.

Is that the Rancor Monster, or an enraged John Lackey after being disturbed by Terry Francona while in the middle of one of his “Gamorrean guard” mid-game snacks?

And yes, I looked up the official name of Jabba’s porcine palace guards on Wookieepedia.

Beat THAT, Craig, for geek deficit disorder!

I was wondering what happened to the twitter questions. I even created an account the other day…..sigh.

    Is the Rancor eating Epstein?
