No ~ he means the Rangers win in five ~ at home ~ as it should be. I just hope Wash has a quick hook if any of the starting rotation stumbles coming out of the gate. The Cards didn’t get to the WS by being kind. They are a very talented club and we can’t risk letting them get an early lead.

As an entirely unrelated aside on a slow baseball news days, can I just say how much I love the fact that there are always ideeli ads on this site? I imagine a baseball blog is not going to overlap too too much with their target market, but I just love the fact that they advertise here anyway. Can’t complain with a couple of stylish and classy models on your screen while reading about baseball, that’s for sure.

I think Texas is making a big mistake if they start Wilson on the first day. He threw too much in the Detroit series, and I think became less effective. I would wait at least for one more day, or even wait until they go back to Tx. He needs a little rest at this point.
