I had an epiphany when I was twelve. They had me up and walking around the next day, and I was home from the hospital a day later. It’s amazing what they could do back then. But all the stuff about the ice cream was a lie.

Not only is there a tooth fairy, but if you add lime juice to your kids’ toothpaste the high acidity will repel it when it tries to deposit its eggs in your kids’ gums while they’re asleep – and will also kill its eggs if it has done so already. This prevents the burrowing larva of the tooth fairy from forcing the little darlings’ teeth out. So for the cost of a lime, you get 25₵ back…..
