The president of the Jays has said that he will make sure that the owners of the team are well informed about Darvish. The GM of the Jays has personally scouted Darvish. So yes! The Jays are interested.

A Japanese jock who is as naive about the press as many American jocks. And many American non-jocks, for that matter. Oh, and many Canadians, too; don’t want to leave out our friends in Beaver Land.
