Like it or not, getting Crawford back in 2010 form is going to be a priority for the club next spring. I’d be pretty surprised if the new manager doesn’t reinstall him as a No. 2 hitter.

Pedroia has some big numbers when he has batted 3rd, as was mentioned as the rweason to put him there, not because of what he did batting in other spots. read the whole section before you ignorantly post

What? Why would the Red Sox put Crawford and his “eh” on-base average in his GOOD years 2nd, and have Pedroia, who had just 21 home runs, bat cleanup?

Ridiculous, especially given Crawford’s stinker season and sub-.300 OBA in 2011. I stopped reading after that selection.
