Fan-friggin-tastic.....

So as an Angels fan, not I only do I get to see Napoli tear it up in the WS...... The team I love nabs a GM who was in charge of finding "talent" from (sans 1 year) a perennial bottom feeder.

For every potential star (Upton and Young), he also found thrice the scrubs (Byrnes, Dunn, Drew, Reynolds, Snyder, Okeda, etc...)

Here's hoping to a Friedman bait and switch.

Banner week for an Angels fan.

The trade, as I understand it, isn't considered to be so lop-sided at this point, and the grade won't be complete for years yet. The 'Backs gave up an ace-quality starter for a back-end rotation guy and two prospects that are considered to be high-potential. For a team that was supposed to be rebuilding, it made perfect sense at the time, and we'll see where Corbin and Skaggs end up.

Big fan of the move. Wanted Kim Ng, but this guy, if given the power to do so, could be a powerful yang to Scoscia's yin.

Also, maybe he won't count on "free agent signing" Kendrys Morales to come back like Reagins did. He's a long time out of the game.
