    Looks just like Kyle Lohse…

Yeah really. That line up card thing was classic CJ!

He looks scrappy. I bet he had huge platoon splits….I mean, he had to…right?

    • natstowngreg - Oct 31, 2011 at 5:39 PM

Probably, but as a career .199 hitter, who cared?

      • stlouis1baseball - Oct 31, 2011 at 5:47 PM

Greg: That is Paper’s way of not so subtely digging at TLR’s penchant for platooning players.

        :-)

        Yeah, got that.

He looks like an accountant in that picture.

Its not him. Its a fake. Look at it again, the person in the picture is smiling.

    • anotheryx - Oct 31, 2011 at 4:36 PM

That must be the saddest smile I ever seen… and he looks nowhere near 26.

    • stlouis1baseball - Oct 31, 2011 at 4:59 PM

Point taken Clyde. Of course…if you watch his postgame interviews in this years playoffs you saw a great deal of smiling (while making incredibly bad jokes). In hindsite…it’s pretty obvious why. I mean…I even mentioned how well he handled the whole bullpen issue (for TLR anyway). He knew he was done and decided he was going to enjoy it.

Seriously, though, did you see the smile on his face when Craig caught that last out? I *loved* that shot they showed. He was like a kid at Christmas, grinning ear to ear
