As another Type A Free Agent, Kelly Johnson may also be screwed. Would any team want to give up a first or second round pick in order to sign him? It may be wise for him to accept arbitration.

The Jays like to obtain draft picks in exchange for players who sign elsewhere as free agents. I am sure that they offer arbitration to Kelly Johnson, Frank Francisco, Jose Molina and Shawn Camp. They will probably not offer arbitration to John Rauch.
