I’m a tribe fan who moved to baltimore and the two franchises are night and day. The Indians have the right strategy for their market and make a run every couple of years, the Orioles front office is terrible, they missed on a ton of draft picks and they seem to be content with having aging veterans come in and play rather than letting youngsters get a shot.

why is Dipoto such a hot item?..sounds like everyone is trying ot find the new Theo…only problem is it only works if your a team who has boatloads of cash on hand.im not a baltimore fan but man they need some kinda luck over there but so does my tribe

I don’t see this as bad as LaCava. Dipoto already had strong interest from the Angels. It is a no brainer to take the LAA over Baltimore. It is telling when a 50 year old would rather stay an assistant GM.

Have you ever been to either of the Baltimore stadiums? Clearly you haven’t. Camden Yards is 20 years old and is still one of the nicest stadiums.

Peter Angelos must be a real difficult guy to work for. 2 guys have turned down the GM job there. Unbelievable.

Well, Peter, don’t worry. There is a guy that will be available soon when he’s fired after the sale of a certain team is finalized. Mr. Angelos, meet Mr. Ed Wade.

Pete, Mr. Wade will not turn down the job and will even work on the cheap. I can’t guarantee he will make you into a winner, but I can guarantee he will trade all of your star players and improve your farm system. The Ed Wade plan will make you into a contender in a mere 6-10 years.
