This is actually a big deal as Page is considered one of the best. There really must been an issue with how he was interacting with the players.

Dr. Gill is considered one of the top orthopedic doctors in the country at one of the best hospitals in the world. I’d be very surprised if they axed his staff.

I originally thought Jared would be a terrible choice because there is a difference between “obese to healthy”, and “healthy to world class shape.”

But then I realized the Red Sox still have to get to the healthy stage.

So yeah, Jared Fogle excellent choice.

Jared from Subway would be an excellent choice. Subway also did wonders for Ryan Howard and his previous weight issue. Howard is a spokesman as well for Subway (at least commercial wise).

I wonder if the Sox have given any thought to hiring Jared Fogle (from the Subway ads) as their official eat healthy person. There has to be an opening somewhere in the Sox organization for him.

I hear the new strength and conditioning coach will be Richard Simmons. He will institute a deal a meal program and sweating to the oldies regiment. The assistant trainer will be Billy Blanks. He will be instituting a Tae-Bo program.

That makes 5 I believe that have either been fired, left on their own or saw the handwriting on the wall (GM, Manager, Pitching Coach, and now the S&C Coach and Asst. Trainer). When will some of the players who actually performed so poorly in September find new homes?
