The problem is that teams will have to pay for him twice…..players to get him and his salary….if the cost in players is very high…he won’t be an attractive option.

Teams will be interested in the upside, but they’d be selling low on him I think. This kinda goes back to them spending over 25 million on their bullpen…if they have to trade Sanchez and his 6 million dollar salary just to add a couple of non-impact offensive pieces then that’s not good.

On one hand I see a lefty who can dazzle when he’s on and he will have a relatively low salary. On the other hand I see this guy and visions of a young Ollie Perez keep popping up in my head. Still, if the price is right he is a damn good 4th starter.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see someone take a chance on him. For six mill or so, his upside is probably worth it.
