Here’s my prediction: Manny does both. He gets into the BSOHL and takes the hundred games. Then Theo and Manny reunite in Chicago just in time to walk the Cubbies through to their first World Series in over a century. That’s gonna happen.

Regardless of if he made it back into baseball such a regime would do him a world of good (and us a needed break from him screwing up). While he was at it he could take along Dykstra, Canseco (Ozzie, too) and Clemens.

the posh Rocky III gym is more his style (before Rocky / Clubber 1). it’s doubtful that he’d go to the inner city gym with Apollo for the rematch (or do sprints on the beach with the Master of Disaster, followed by awkward embraces in the water). actually, he loves the awkward man-hugs as his many embraces with Ortiz is proof of…but still, ghetto gym? ain’t happening. nor is the Siberian wood chopping workout that drmonkey mentioned.
