If this turn of phrase confuses you it’s because it’s a literal translation, a more helpful way to translate this phrase is: We have faith that the details surrounding this case will be uncovered quickly (evidence, perpetrators, events).

Background: The full title is Minister of Interior and Justice. An acceptable acronym is MIJ. This ministry is of sort of combination homeland security – justice department but it leans more heavily on the security side than the judicial side.

This was the deputy justice minister for accuracy’s sake. But for those that are curious: Tareck El Aissami is the MIJ, and Edwin Rojas the deputy MIJ.

Being a pro ball player is what got Ramos kidnapped in the first place. That very fact may in fact account for why he and his kidnappers have still not been heard from. It’s likely he’s signing a lot of autographs right now and meeting a lot of family members. I sure hope so.

Of course they are. Ramos is a pro baseball player, if Kidnappers actually start aggressively targeting baseball players(or any pro sports players) because this one is succesful, they will stop going home during the offseason. Other nationalities will stop going their for Winter ball. That is cash flying out of the Venezulan economy and tax coffers. They need to nip this in the butt.
