To be really serious for a minute, how is Wood worth 10 Mil a year? The guy was a great pitcher for a couple of years, but now, I don’t think so. A 3.35 ERA is OK, but not great for a set up guy who mostly pitches one inning. He probably is worth 2.5-3 Mil in today’s market. Even if he closes, his ERA has to be under 2.0 for a 10 Mil contract.

This only makes too much sense. I hope Kerry has at least a few more years left in the tank with the Cubs. He’s an all-time favorite.
