They won 12 more games this year than last year, which is a huge jump in baseball. 80-81 is nothing to be dissapointed in. And most of that without Strasburg, Ryan Zimmerman, Adam Laroche, and an underperforming Jason Werth. Things could fall into place. Plus the owners have shown they will spend, dont be surprised if they sign one of 2 top free agents. Yes things are looking up for Washington, in baseball that is...]]></description>

The Nats have Strasberg, Zimmerman and Detwiler as their #1, #2 and #3, not to mention a very solid bullpen with Clippard and Storen leading the way.  If they get a full year out of Ryan Zimmerman, not to mention repeat production out of Morse and some of the other young stars (plus some added lineup protection for Werth), Harper will only make them that much better.  Give it another year and the Nats will be a very solid WC candidate and quite possibly contend with Philly in a very tough NL East race.]]></description>
