For a $5 million salary, which is what, Jamie Carroll money? – it’s a great deal for a guy who’s still young enough to have a nice rebound and play in a much better park.

I like a two-year deal for a pretty good player for a rebuilding franchise. By 2014, he’ll be off the books and the team will hopefully have a cheaper 24-year old option who puts up roughly the same numbers.
