Tweet of the Day: David DeJesus’ wife is very happy

Nov 30, 2011, 5:01 PM EST

Most wives would probably be pretty happy after their husband signed a $10 million contract, but Kim DeJesus is especially pleased by David DeJesus joining the Cubs because she’s from Chicago and … well:

source: Coincidentally, Calcaterra did the exact same thing when the Braves picked up Eric Hinske‘s option.

      Leave Eric Hinske alone.

There is no record if Mrs. DeJ had her nails alternating green and gold while David patrolled RF and amassed his sizzling .698 OPS for the A’s.

That said, it would not shock me to see him deliver a .780 OPS in Wrigley while playing a very good RF.

Yeah those Cubs colors really are arresting and unique. Can’t think of many other teams who employ red and blue

Butterface. Way too fake looking for me. And yes, I mean it, and no, I’m not crazy.
