Other than Mark Buerhle, this is the guy highest on my wish list. Close the SS hole for the next 5-6 years. The lineup possibilities are confounding yet titillating.

It’s hard to believe the NY Mets can’t afford this guy. I guess Bernie really did a number on the Wilpon’s money. If the Wilpon’s had a shred of decency they would sell the team.
