Apparently the Marlins might not be done spending.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that C.J. Wilson has offers from four teams, including the Marlins and Angels.

Earlier today Jon Heyman of SI.com pegged the Nationals as the favorites to sign Wilson, but then Bill Ladson of MLB.com wrote that Wilson “is not a top target” for Washington.

Wilson’s agent is also said to have a meeting scheduled with the Red Sox and of course the Rangers may still be somewhat in the mix, while the Yankees have made it very clear that they aren’t interested in Wilson.

Previous reports about Wilson seeking $100 million may have sounded outlandish, but if the Marlins are still throwing around money and there are three other teams legitimately making a play for him the free agent left-hander certainly seems likely to at least top $75 million.

No No No! How many times are we going to go through this? Nats and Marlins are the only teams who should pay what he’s asking for. I’d much rather the Halos stand pat (tie up Haren) or sign Buerhle (who’s the better pitcher imo).

If DiPoto does this, this will cancel out the Mathis trade and will simply be an extension of Reagin’s regime of incompetence
