Jury’s out on this one. Change of scenery trades sometimes work. But no way to predict.

I think this is more Alderson getting rid of a player he didn’t think would turn it back on again, and getting extra value in the process.

I want to be able to say something about this trade, but its two high defense/low offense CF and one relief pitcher than when he’s on, hes fantastic. Go mets, at least they got their RP out of it

Torres is 33, but he had a 6.8 WAR in 2010 with 22 runs saved on defense.

If the Mets get half of those numbers and the Ramirez from last season it’s a win for the Mets.
