Actually, if the Jays can’t get rid of Frankie Fran then he might be good for 1 or 2 outs in late relief. Y’know, a la Dotel for the Cards? Might work out for them.

Whew, that must make Mets fans feel better. I’m sure they were worried about that Madoff thing affecting the Mets ability to spend like they are in the largest baseball market in the World…now, they can put those worries to rest, they’re getting 2 brand new middle relievers to root for.
