The Phils' rotation is better than the Angels, and so is their offense. The Angels' offense is putrid. Houston and San Francisco are the only teams off the top of my head that are worse.

What is with all you guys. You sound like women at tea time.

The Phillies' offense is lower then great, yet they won 100+ games last year. They didn't have a number 4 and 5 last year that was reliable (before you ask, Oswalt was out more then half the year). So if the Angel's Rotation was: Weaver, Wilson, Haren, Santana, Williams, would that be bad? Plus if they penciled in Oswalt as the 5 guy... that would be woeful for the Rangers. They are the front runners for Ramirez so far, still could get Fielder or Pujols, Kendrys is gonna be back, well at least hopefully, jeese everyone. If we had an average lineup would it kill? Nope.

This is also the man who put faith in the worst offensive regular in the major leagues for years, so... yeah, there's that. I love Mike Scioscia and what he's done for the Angels, but really? I think everyone would want more pitching, but to say that offense isn't your glaring problem then you're delusional
