I don’t see how you can complain about them doing this every year when they’ve made the playoffs 6 out of the last 10 seasons and it was almost 7 as they lost a play in game against the White Sox in 2008. That ties them with the Angels, Red Sox, and Cardinals. Only the Yankees have been in the playoffs more in the last decade.

I agree. But it is still hard to imagine any of us having to think that the worst we will do in the next three years is get paid 25 million for less than 9 months work.

As of right now it looks like the Twins are willing to go to battle in the 2012 season with pretty much the same team that lost 99 games and finished 32 games back of the Tigers in 2011.

Whatever the Twins do just make sure if they really want Cuddyer they check his feet first. Any warts found on those flippers should see money adjusted accordingly.
