Wow. I think this is a bad As move. Wasn’t Cahill a potential steal at his contract rate? He has top 10 top 15 stuff. How does this affect the Gio Gonzalez talk?

Jeez, another 25 year old non-porspect outfielder. The A’s have been acquiring a TON of these guys the past 4 seasons. I’m getting sick of it. What they really need is a few 18-20 year olds with some actual upside. I hope they just commit to an all under-25 year old team next season and at least see if some of these guys can really play major league baseball. At least if they crash and burn, they’ll get a high draft pick after next season.
