I know Marcus Thames didn’t play the outfield as well as Jones, but he hit the ball a lot better and he didn’t strikeout nearly as much.

DH will be to rest A-Rod or other starters and for Montero.

While I like Jones, I think it’s time the Yankees gave Gardner a full shot at full time OFer rather than sit him against LHP. While they have given him chances gardner’s always been on a fairly short leash. Time to take the training wheels off and see what happens because even when he’s not hitting well he plays great defense. The line up can stand it.
