I could see a lot of team giving hims a chance as a set up guy (7th or 8th inning). I wouldn’t mind the Phillies taking a flier on him. Let him setup for Papplebom, if it doeosn’t work then go with……whatever the plan was before him, lol

That was one of the more freaky injuries out there when it happened. Hope he can come back he could make a nice low risk move for somebody.

To be the Yankee’s 5th inning guy? They have a pretty solid pen with Mariano, Robertson, Soriano and Chamberlain, plus a handful of other young guys capable of getting the job done. This is one area where I don’t think the Yankees need to throw dollars.

Maybe, but then his shoulder will fall of or his elbow will explode and he’ll be done for the year. He has upside but he’s been injury prone for the last 5 years

I can see both the Yankees and the Red Sox all over him. He has upside and is comparatively cheap. Both teams need help and are watching their pennies this year.
