uhhhhh…..what? In the last 5 seasons, he spent 4 1/2 with the Phillies, and a cup of coffee with Colorado.

In 2011 alone Romero has been with five different organizations: Phillies, Yankees, Rockies, Nationals, and now Cardinals.

I know, he’s probably only going to have minimal exposure anyway, no biggie.

I’ll save the heavy “Not So Dynamic Duo” bashing for when they inevitably let Molina walk after next year and fail two extend Wainwright sooner rather than making a futile sit on their hands effort when he hits free agency following the 2013 season.

Albert’s situation never should have gotten to free agency. They let it – fuck them.

14 million over 2 years for Furcal? A better option than Tyler Greene but way overpayed, nobody in their right mind was going to offer that much.

Another overcommit/overpay on Skip, senseless – he’s a fringe player.

Time will tell on Luhnow, dude was already demoted within the Cards organization and one could ironically discuss his taking the GM job in Houston was a demotion from that.

Like what? Not overpaying an star at the end of his prime on a crazy 10 year deal? Pujols had been looking for 10 years and $300, he showed himself to be prideful, surly, and vain….he wanted his ass kissed and they didn’t….fuck him.

Keeping skip around is silly….but we are talking end of the bench players, who cares.

The worst thing that has happened is losing Lunhow, and like Pujols leaving, it wasn’t really anything they had control over.

Maybe Ashton should have hit Demi’s fenders harder with that hammer, then? Besides, Demi’s taken out both Kuchar and Willis, no? Those guys are both lefties. Duncan specializes in fixing up LOOGYs. Ashton shoulda called him in for help.

Both Lohse and Westbrook are signed through the 2012 season, and have no trade contracts. Lynn was primarily a starter in the minors with moderate success. As a reliever, capable of going multiple innings, he has flourished. Could be a case of a guy whose stuff doesn’t translate going through the order a 2nd or 3rd time, but dominates the first time through. Unfortunately for the Cards the same could be said of Lohse and Westbrook.

If Wainwright is fully healed (or even close), the rotation will be okay. Wainwright, Carpenter, Garcia are a pretty solid top three. Are Lohse and Westbrook signed for next year, or free agents? They aren’t great, but are serviceable. I know Lance Lynn was used in long relief at times last year. Was he a starter in the minors, and would he be a possibility for the rotation?

Bargain player to throw in a bullpen that won’t have Pujols creating runs for them. Maybe they should be working on that starting rotation a little more as well?
