If he was pitching in the AL East, his ERA would be close to 5.0. Based on the number of rumors, it appears that the Mutts are actively trying to shop him and are trying to build him up. Saying that he would not be part of a trade package for Gio Gonzalez is disingenuous. I rather doubt that Oakland would want him.
