Soria would never accept a trade to Boston. He’s not a pressure type guy and that’s all he’d get with the Boston media. He has a partial no trade clause in his contract, so he’s probably staying where he is.

I think the BoSox are to close to the luxury cap (if not already over it). But at least eh would cost them a b or c level prospect only.

they should take KRod off the Brewers hands. HIs velocity is down some but he still throws a very good curveball. He needs a closer job and he wont get it in Milwaukee unless Axford gets hurt which would not be:good for the Brewers if KRod left, but milwaukee needs the cap room and Bos needs a closer.

I would imagine 29 teams inquired on him. There are only so many GM’s so one would hope they would all inquire on just about every good player out there to see what is what.

I personally would pull the trigger if I was the BoSox. Young (and relatively cheap) established pitching is hard to come by. Their rotation is average so they need a shut down bullpen!
