How do they make sense? They just spent a crap ton on Reyes and Buehrle, I can’t see them affording Cespedes also.

If they couldn’t get butts in the seats before, it’s not going to get much better. Although, Miami IS little Cuba… so this guy would be a rockstar there….

The only reason he’d want to play there is to hit in that joke of a ball park the Yankees built. Do you know what’s sad? The HR king last year wasn’t a Yankee, even though their Fisher Price stadium allows Texas Leaguer HRs…

The Marlins make the most sense. They need to put butts in the seats of that new park, or there will BE no Miami Marlins. There are a lot of Cuban butts in Miami. If I were the GM of Miami I would be thinking of all the 10-12 year old Cuban kids that could use a Griffey for their generation. That is the future fanbase for that team…GIVE THEM THEIR HERO!
