The only reason anyone would buy in to what the Wilpon’s are suckering would be ego. But why would anyone want to say they owned a share in the Mets at their next cocktail party? People might ask what free agents are you going to sign and what will you say? We are making runs at Aubrey Huff, Delmon Young, and have a good chance of landing Leo Nunez. I think the Wilpon’s are finished.
