If the Rangers sign Darvish and Fielder they won’t keep Josh. I’m not so sure they will sign Fielder so they better get busy talking to Josh.

$12 million per year is half market value? Josh is a terrific player…but injury prone. I know it will take more than $12 million, but I doubt that he’ll see twice that.

Fielder=insurance? Today’s statement is a result of fielder. Hamilton is currently thinking, “gee, they’re currently negotiating with fielder and they haven’t called me? Especially because I’ve played the last 2 years at half the market value”

Remember the last star who’s team did negotiate a timely extension? He’s an angel today.
