Yeah, really, pay attention: A’s fans have been jumping ship to the tune of about 1,000 average per game per year since the glory days of the early 2000′s. That trend could accelerate this year, especially towards the end of the year. It could be real ugly inside the Mausoleum around August 1, or real peaceful if you are looking for a good place to nap undisturbed.

The A’s aren’t rebuilding. They’re making themselves look uberpoor so they can look justified in whining about a new stadium.

It’s pathetic. A’s fans should jump ship in protest.

Seth Smith?! For two serviceable pitchers?! Pardon me if I think they could have at least gotten a decent prospect instead in return. I thought the A’s were rebuilding, not jogging in place.
