They commit to him for two additional years, which is a bit of a risk, but with a lot of upside if he stays healthy and good, and with a cheap option for further upside if he’s still performing.

Morrow’s always reminded me of Edwin Jackson. His performance doesn’t match his stuff, so people call him disappointing, but that belies the fact that what he is is pretty good. And there’s always the chance his performance catches up with his stuff, in which case this could be a helluva bargain.
