I am quite surprised. The price was right.The Jays had rebuilt the pen already but this signing is a bargain. The bullpen should be awesome.

Alex Anthopoulos the Quiet Assassin, strikes (like a cobra) again. No one saw this, at this price. Yowza.

My dream, when I dare to dream of big things and not just hoping for my statistical analysis to make sense, is that all this jibber jabber about big hitters going to teams already stacked with hitters @ 1st, is just more Quiet Assassin smoke & the Big Boi is a Beaver Man. In the end, though, I fear all that smoke is really Leyland’s personal nicotine supply being consumed in the happy fires of a man with possibilities.

Full credit to A.A. for the complete rebuild of the bullpen for the Jays. It was certainly far and away the biggest weakness for Toronto going into the off-season.
