By the end of last season, his “just missed the zone” and “taken deep on a heater down the middle” issues were disappearing. He’d stopped trying to blow it by everyone when he was in trouble and cultivated a change up & curve ball for strikes to the big hitters. The low power guys still got the heaters, and it was a fireball. He looked like an ace. I’m anxious to see how he fares this season, but this could be a gooder for him.
