Jan 26, 2012, 1:52 PM EDT

Not to steal Calcaterra’s gimic, but we can add another name to the “best shape of my life” list thanks to this tweet from MLB.com Mariners beat reporter Greg Johns:

But is he in “mint condition”?

“Best shape of my career.” This is the kind of inside information that will enable me to win my fantasy league this year. I have to end the four year drought since dominating in 2007.

I would love to draft an all fantasy “in the best shape of his life” team. I wonder where they would finish

      • paperlions - Jan 26, 2012 at 2:10 PM

Last, but it would be fun to do anyway.

A guy his age should already be in the best shape of his life. Slacker

I mean shit, they traded Cliff Lee for him, the least he could do is hit the gym every so often

    • proudlycanadian - Jan 26, 2012 at 3:09 PM

All I can say is holly Smoak.

I think Smoak gets a pass here. The quote isn’t attributed to him; it’s the M’s trainer.

I was wondering who Griffin was. Thanks.
